This was the view looking across The Sound of Raasay towards Applecross on the mainland from the northeast coast of Skye last July. I stopped just a little further up the coast from The Old Man of Storr. The weather was terrible – but stunning! We had slept through a real storm the night before and, by morning, the weather was finally starting to break.
