This winter has been particularly cold and snowy. Whilst it has, in many ways, been difficult and disruptive, you cannot ignore how beautiful the city has looked under its blanket of snow. Our iconic buildings, both historical and modern, have been transformed by the new colour and lighting that only snow brings. I was particularly taken by the magical qualities of The Scottish Parliament buildings in the snow; its lights twinkling and reflecting in perfect and peaceful harmony with the early evening light. Beautiful!
