The houses of Ramsey Gardens have been painted and photographed many times, and rightly so – they are quite stunning! I love the way that they seem to perch above Princes Street Gardens with Edinburgh Castle as their backdrop. On this particular evening the light was just beginning to fade and some of the details of the houses became lost before the glorious colours of the sky.
